Relocation Information

Are you new to Virginia?

Virginia will draw you in with its beautiful scenery.  There are small towns and sizeable cities with an urban and rural divide.  There’s something for everyone.

The population is growing and becoming more diverse.

Because of its close proximity to DC, Northern Virginia home prices are a little higher than average.  Additionally in this area, the cost of living is above the national average.  The traffic in this area can be heavier.  If you are going to be on the road at rush hour, checking the traffic reports prior to your departure is highly recommended.

There are great homes and rentals available.  Everything from detached homes to condos can be seen in our area.  There are great walking communities, fabulous restaurants, extensive shopping, and cultural and educational venues.

Virginia is noted for the quality of its higher education.  The University of Virginia, founded and designated by Thomas Jefferson, is one of the best in the country and is definitely worth visiting.  Virginia has a reputation for a well-educated population.

Do you like wine?  Virginia can keep pace with the wine country states such as California or Oregon.  It will take a couple of days to visit all the local wineries!

If you like the beach, Virginia has beautiful beaches.  There are quaint shops, great seafood, especially crabs and oysters.

Kids will enjoy Busch Gardens amusement park, the Virginia Aquarium, Colonial Williamsburg, and Shenandoah Caverns.
